Steve has enjoyed beautiful pictures and fine art all of his life. His avocation became his profession in 1998 when he opened Steve’s InFocus Photo Lab and Portrait Studio. Film processing, printing and up to 6x8 enlargements with some portraits were the main business.
Three years in a row Steve’s has been voted the best of the best by readers of Core Media papers in five cities in the San Gabriel valley.
Since starting he has moved the business into the digital age. Film processing and printing though still done with his sophisticated equipment is a much smaller portion of the business.
He now teaches digital photography classes and shoots all kinds of pictures for his clients. His shop prints images on a myriad of papers, photo, fine art, premium artist canvas, premium gloss and luster and enhanced matte to name a few.
Steve is also involved in the community as a member of the Pasadena Y’s Men’s club. This organization is the support group of the YMCA in Pasadena.
He is a Past President and now Treasurer of the Pasadena Host Lions Club. Their main effort is to help the blind and hard of hearing. They also work in the community helping the less fortunate. You can drop off old glasses, hearing aids, cell phones, ink cartridges and they will be used to help those less fortunate people in need.
Steve believes the customer is the most important part of any business. He believes you must listen to the customer, find out what they are looking to achieve, then help them find the best solution with all available options. We must exceed the customers expectations in every way.
Steve is very proud of his team. They are real professionals. They have been involved in the photo business several years.
Steve and his wife Anna live in Pasadena. They have five grown children and seven grandchildren. Four of the five families live in the Pasadena area and the other lives in the Chicago area. |
